SHIPPING

Delivery:


Orders are delivered across Japan using third party delivery companies. Most packages are delivered by Kuroneko Yamato but we may use other providers in certain circumstances.

We aim to have all our orders shipped out within four business days after receipt of payment for the order.  Please bear in mind that we are a small business and there may be unforeseen circumstances where order fulfillment may take us a few days longer.  


If your order is urgent please email us at: contact@jdcshop.jp once your order is complete and quote your order number.  We will do our best to assist you!

Domestic Shipping Rates

All orders over JPY8,000 will be free of charge.

Most packages will fall within the 500-1,000yen per package category for delivery within Honshu (mainland Japan). Hokkaido deliveries will be charged 2,000yen per package and Okinawa deliveries 3,000yen per package.

Very small orders that can be packed into our smallest box (up to a maximum of two tea towels), will be charged at the lower rate of ¥500 (mainland Japan), ¥1,000 (Hokkaido), or ¥1,500 (Okinawa).

For very large or bulky orders however, additional delivery charges may apply. 

International Shipping & Duties

Currently, we provide international shipping services to a curated list of countries, including but not limited to Australia, Canada, the European Union (EU), and the United States.

It's important to be aware that when placing an order with us, customers are accountable for any applicable import duties, customs fees, or local taxes that may be imposed.


RETURNS

We provide exchanges or refunds in cases where customers receive incorrect or defective items. Additionally, we cover the shipping fees associated with the return.

Please notify us at: contact@jdcshop.jp if a customer wishes to initiate a return or exchange within 5 days of receipt of the incorrect or defective goods.

Kindly note that we cannot accept returns or exchanges for the following:

  • Items received by the customer after 6 days have elapsed.
  • Items that are opened, damaged or missing, unless the fault lies with us.
